La traversée du Azhar (The crossing of the Azhar),

by and directed by Valérie Castel-Jordy premiered at the Festival d'Avignon 2019 after a long period of rehearsals and presentation of models of the show. My work accompanied this maturation, and the music gradually found its most appropriate resonance with the text, a form of osmosis with the acting.

Ainsi vont les cerises (So go the cherries),

first of my collaborations with author/director Valérie Castel-Jordy gave me the opportunity to experiment with composition "in situ", i.e. in the theater, live from rehearsal. The music is very present, combining recorded tape and on-stage performances of several songs by the actresses. Having also directed a song/theater workshop in EPAHD in collaboration with her, we continued our collaboration on La taversée du Ahzar (on tour since 2018).

La Pantoufle (The sleeper)

For Claude Ponty's play, in which the central character is a baby spending his last moments in his mother's womb, before launching out into the world. He tells us about the world and life as he doesn't yet know it, but as he has imagined it. In the text, the author gives more or less precise indications about the music. Olivia Machon directs the play.
